Impact Engineering currently has several vacancies for machine shop personnel. These roles are part of the Machining team which is a progressive, diverse, innovative, and largely autonomous group working across a range of industries.
Please find following the available positions and the minimum requirements for each position.
CNC Lathe operator
· Night shift role; 4 * 12hr shifts Mon – Thurs as standard
· Trade qualified 1st class machinist; preferably with 5 + yrs experience
· Must have demonstrable experience in programing, setting and operating CNC lathes with FANUC operating software
· Thread cutting experience preferable
· Production based background desirable
· High-risk tickets for Forklift and overhead crane preferable
5-Axis Mill operator
· Night shift role; 4 * 12hr shifts Mon – Thurs as standard
· Trade qualified 1st class machinist; preferably with 5 + yrs experience
· Must have demonstrable experience in programing, setting and operating 5-axis milling machines with Siemens software
· Production based back ground desirable
· High-risk tickets for Forklift and overhead crane desirable
2nd Class Machinist/Trades Assistant
· Night shift role; 4*12hr shifts Mon –Thurs as standard
· Must have demonstrable experience in loading and operating CNC machines
· Manual lathe experience preferable
· High-risk tickets for both Forklift and overhead crane essential
Conditions
· All positions are full time and available for immediate start
· Wages are negotiable pending your experience with a competitive flat rate on offer for all hours worked Mon - Fri plus loadings as appropriate
